The Martial Science Institute offers a scientific and effective approach to defense as well as fitness. The Martial Science Institute offers a program that is focused on the Mind, Body and Spirit connection.
We have adopted a scientific methodology in unlocking the very best in humanity.
The program comprises of an effective Junan Taiso fitness program, the Bujinkan Japanese self-protection system which has survived for over 2000 years and has been passed from generation to generation.
A meditation program completes the package and assists our students to live balanced, confident and fulfilling lives.
Junan Taiso is the Ninja fitness program and is recognised as being highly effective in addressing issues such as low muscle tone, incorrect breathing and posture, strengthening the core muscles is associated with focus and concentration.
The program is designed around yoga and Martial science brings this program and effectively enhances it with effective techniques regarding fitness, flexibility, contrology and effective breathing techniques to offer a well-rounded powerful program to assist in unlocking the very best you.
Bujinkan is an efficient martial art that assists our students in being able to overcome stronger, larger and faster opponents.
Our students are also able to apply the principles of the techniques not only to defend themselves but are taught how to use the essence of the techniques in day-to-day life.
Tiger

The White Tiger is a rare and exceptional anomaly that occurs naturally in only one out of 10,000 Bengal tiger births. The White Tiger is renowned for its strength and majestic fierceness. Its serene energy and power represent fearlessness and spiritual awaking. It traditionally symbolizes strength, courage, war, instinct, willpower, courage, vision, and clairvoyance.
The White Tiger and the Dragon are said to guard mankind and to protect the Dharma, or teachings of the Buddha. These two creatures contrast with one another in many ways. The Dragon is associated with the heavens and water, while the White Tiger symbolizes earth and soil.
Japanese Dragon
The dragon is a symbol that stands for valiance, heroism, boldness, self-confidence, power, excellence, perseverance, nobility, vitality and happiness.
It brings about physical as well as spiritual well-being and strength. The dragon style of fighting is called a “soft” style. The dragon fights on the defensive and fights in fluid, circular motions.

Bonsai

Bonsai, in general, symbolise harmony, peace, order of thoughts, balance and all that is good in nature.
Bonsai also symbolise Love and devotion, Friendship, Luck and prosperity, Health and wellbeing, Beginnings and creativity, Peace and harmony and Milestones.
Nin
The word “nin” contained in “ninja” and “ninjitsu”, is made up of the characters for blade/knife and heart/heart mind.
The word takes on the meaning of patience, perseverance, endurance, and/or constancy depending on the translation.

Code of Conduct
The codes of conduct are meant to guide our students at the Martial Science Institute.
The codes are:
To only use your martial art to defend yourself and those that are defenseless. To practice your martial art with discipline and humility and to be responsible in the practice of your martial art and its various forms. To show respect towards those that you train with and spar with.
To honor yourself by living a life that is disciplined, healthy and fulfilled. Doing this requires that you undertake to train at your very best, to be mindful of your thoughts and steer them always to the best possible outcome. To honor your parents and those who teach.
To challenge yourself to overcome your fears and the limits you have set yourself, understanding that you are a limitless being capable of achieving anything you set your focused mind on. To challenge your fears by knowing that you have everything in you to ensure your success.
To consistently instill in yourself right thought and take right action. To ensure that what you say and what you do are the same and that you live a life that is morally right. To consistently strive for excellence in Mind, Body and spirit.
To learn with a diligent mind and through applying your learnings gain experiences that lead to fulfillment within yourself. Maintain balance in thought and deed and know that where there is excess focus in one part of your life you will experience loss in other parts of life.
To always, live by truth through word, deed and thought, understanding that untruth wastes energy, creates hurt and goes against the precepts of Respect, Honor and Integrity. Always seek truth and truth shall find you.
