You also receive life coaching and personalized meditation and mindfulness lessons.
Classes are structured in such a way that all three components that are, fitness, suppleness, defense and meditation practice, are all taught in every class.
The maximum of two students can attend a class in order not to lose the individual attention.

In the Martial Science Ladies defense seminars or classes, we equip our women with the most effective and practical techniques in order to defend themselves successfully against a would-be predator.
Our ladies are taught techniques in how to use day to day objects as effective weapons.
Martial Science Ladies defense strives to create, confident, empowered women in order to support their drive and ambition without any inhibitions.
Martial Science Ladies defense seminars or classes has as its basis in the Bujinkan Japanese self-protection system which has survived for over 2000 years and has been passed from generation to generation.
The Bujinkan has been taught in South Africa for over 20 years and it has helped many of our instructors and students survive or avoid life threatening events.
One of the key components of the system was that woman were recognised from the beginning.
Specialised techniques and tactics were developed for women and children to defend themselves against larger, stronger attackers.
The system takes into consideration the strength and stature of woman and is designed in a way to use the strength and speed of an attacker against the aggressor.
The attacker’s strength, speed and intentions becomes their weakness.
Here are a few points to consider when choosing an effective, practical system for women to use:
- Military arts were designed for military personal – mainly men.
- Sports based arts were designed for competition to compare one-on-one strength and skill levels.
The above systems are all amazing and useful within their specific arenas but have dangerous flaws when they are used by everyday people, especially women, in survival situations.
Most of the martial arts and sports systems require a lot of strength and power to perform their techniques effectively, which is not helpful if you are physically smaller or weaker than your attacker.
Even if you are as strong as your attacker what happens if there is more than one attacker?
Sports only cater for one against one and have protective equipment, weight categories and referees to keep things fair.
A lady walking alone or with her children to her car after shopping does not have those luxuries.
The Bujinkan system is designed around using effective techniques, tactics and principles that are based on natural movement which use the aggressor’s momentum and focus against them.
We also believe prevention is better than cure and a lot of the training is about developing your senses and awareness to identify and avoid dangerous situations.
